All transactions are considered final. Refunds for ApplyPilot services are not provided. Please review this policy and our Terms of Service before making a purchase.

1. All Sales Are Final
It's important to acknowledge that refunds for ApplyPilot services are not provided, as all transactions are considered final.
Our fees contribute to the development and maintenance of:
- AI-powered resume and cover letter generation technology
- Personalized ATS analysis and optimization algorithms
- Server infrastructure and data storage
- Ongoing platform development and improvements
- Customer support and service delivery
These elements involve substantial time, technology, and resource investment which cannot be recovered once services are accessed.
2. Subscription Cancellation
While purchases are non-refundable, you have the option to cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges:
- How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription from your account settings or by emailing support@applypilotai.com
- When Cancellation Takes Effect: Cancellation stops future charges but does not provide a refund for the current period
- Continued Access: You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No Partial Refunds: No prorated refunds are provided for unused time in a billing period
3. Pausing Your Subscription
If you need a temporary break from the service, you may request to pause your subscription:
- Pause Duration: Subscriptions can be paused for up to 30 days
- How to Pause: Contact support@applypilotai.com to request a pause
- Reactivation: Your subscription will automatically resume after the pause period ends
- Limitations: Pausing is available once per billing cycle
If the pause period expires without reactivation, your subscription will resume and billing will continue as normal.
4. Billing Errors and Exceptions
While our general policy is no refunds, we will review requests in the following situations:
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged more than once for the same period
- Technical Billing Errors: If a system error resulted in an incorrect charge
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to investigation)
To report a billing error, contact support@applypilotai.com with "Billing Issue" in the subject line within 30 days of the charge. Include your account email and details of the issue.
5. When Refunds Are NOT Provided
Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:
- Change of mind after purchasing or using the service
- Failure to cancel before subscription renewal
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (content is subjective and provided as a starting point)
- Failure to secure job interviews or employment
- Account termination due to Terms of Service violations
- Features working as described but not meeting personal expectations
- Unused credits or generations within the service period
- Not using the service during your subscription period
6. Free Trial Terms
If we offer a free trial:
- You will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before it ends
- It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to continue
- Charges made after a trial period ends are non-refundable
- Free trials are limited to one per user; creating multiple accounts to obtain multiple trials is prohibited
7. Credits and One-Time Purchases
For credit-based purchases or one-time services:
- Validity: Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Expiration: Unused credits expire after this period and cannot be refunded or extended
- No Cash Value: Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other users
8. Disputing Charges
If you see an unexpected charge, please contact us before disputing with your bank or credit card company.
We can often resolve billing issues faster than the dispute process. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Loss of access to all services and data
- Inability to create new accounts

9. Service Availability
ApplyPilot strives to maintain reliable service availability. However:
- Temporary service interruptions for maintenance or technical issues do not qualify for refunds
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions
- Extended outages (more than 72 consecutive hours) may be considered for service credit at our discretion
10. Changes to This Policy
ApplyPilot reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
